Project description
People and societies thrive on their ability to change behaviors. Reflections can lead to learning and better self-understanding, and thus have the potential to help individuals learn how to change. Since reflections are highly complex and individualized, the capability of AI to draw connections between pieces of thought can help people gain self-understanding.
In research-through-design studies, I created an explorative smart reflection card that supports people in reflecting on their behaviour. The prototype that I designed and developed focuses on design principles of mindfulness and discovery to trigger a reflection, both in its embodiment and interaction. The card helps users implement regular reflection moments and unveil learnings that can support them in implementing health behaviors more successfully.
